From Eldorado, Oklahoma take Highway 6 west, turn south on Cemetery Road. Go to the next paved road, turn East. Follow this road until it curves back to the south. Instead of going around the curve, follow the road straight ahead. (paved becomes a dirt road.) Go approximately 1/2 mile on the road. Turn back East and go about 1/2 mile. The cemetery will be on the South side of the road and is off the road about 100 feet.

This cemetery was associated with a community in southwest Oklahoma before statehood. The area is now a ghost town and the only thing remaining is the cemetery.

There are at least 14 rock markers which are either not readable or which have no information on them. The cemetery is in good condition and is well cared for.

I walked this cemetery on Oct 22, 2003. Information provided here was taken from all existing tombstones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
