From Eldorado, Oklahoma, drive west on State Highway 6 to the Southwest corner of Eldorado. Turn South on county road N1850 which is paved. The cemetery is approximately 1/2 mile on the west side of the road.

Eldorado Cemetery was established in 1889 and is located Southwest of Eldorado. This cemetery was associted with the Eldorado community in Southwest Oklahoma before Statehood. Land for the cemetery was donated by J.M Baker in 1889. Mr. Baker's wife, Mary Elizabeth Baker, was the first person buried in the Eldorado Cemetery.

I surveyed and transcribed this cemetery in 2011-2012. This includes all existing headstones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
