This cemetery is located on the north side of US-70 (Hwy 199) just east of the town of Oakland and north of Madill in Marshall County, Oklahoma. From the intersection of Hwy 70 and 199 in Madill, go west 0.39 mile on US 70, the cemetery is on the north side of the Hwy.

The cemetery is used by both the town of Oakland and the town of Madill. It is the largest cemetery in Marshall County at this time. Not sure who owns and maintains it.

Lowana Muncrief and I walked and read this cemetery, completing it in 2012.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
