From Waynesburg follow Route 21 West approximately 1.9 miles and make a left on to Oak Forest Road. Follow Oak Forest Road for 1.8 miles and make a right onto Woods Road. Cross the Woods covered bridge and continue for a very short distance until you come to the first house on the left. The cemetery is located atop a very large hill across the road from this house. This house, farm and land is owned by Mr. Bill Milesky. Please obtain permission from the property owner before going to the cemetery. Mr. Milesky was most gracious in helping to locate this cemetery.

This cemetery is a very small cemetery and is no longer maintained. All stones except for one have fallen. There may be more individuals buried here than listed because the fallen stones are quite large and cannot be raised without mechanical assistance. Other names may be on the fallen stones that lay upon the ground. No burials have occurred here in almost 100 years.

I walked the cemetery on 26 Dec 2008. This transcription is complete and includes all existing stones and all the names that are visible. I also have digital photographs of all the stones as well as many views of the cemetery itself and would share them with anyone interested.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
