Williams Cemetery
Jackson Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania

From the Route 21/Route 18 split in west Waynesburg, follow Route 21 West approximately 6.5 miles through the town of Rogersville and to a blinking yellow light. Turn left onto Route 18 South and travel 8.7 miles and turn right on Aleppo Road. Follow for .3 miles and turn right onto Cottage Hill Road and stop. The cemetery will be on your right and visible from the road. It's most distinguishing feature is one large granite stone.

This cemetery is in very poor condition and is no longer maintained. All but one large stone is down. The cemetery is located on private property. Please ask permission from the land owner before going to the cemetery.

I have included portions of a transcription of this cemetery written by Dorothy and James Hennen in 1971. At that time, they recorded 13 burials here. Today I could only find evidence of 7 burials. The Hennen enteries are marked with an (*).

I walked the cemetery on Mar 07, 2009. This transcription is complete and includes all existing stones. I also have digital photographs of all the stones as well as many views of the cemetery itself and would share them with anyone interested.
