In Walterboro travel south on Green Pond Hwy approx 10.4 miles and turn left on Wood Road, travel approx. .8 miles to Bennett's Point Road, go approx. 15.6 miles to Bennett's Point at Bennett's Point turn left on Baldwin Lane, at the end of this unpaved road you will cross to wooden bridges after the second bridge turn right and follow that dirt road around till you see 4 houses on the right and one house right in front of you look to the left and you will see a brick fence surrounding the cemetery.

The Baldwin Family Cemetery was started about 5 years ago by the Baldwin family. It is owned and maintained by them.

I have transcribed from the readings done on Jan. 16, 2003 when Rachael Brower and I visited the cemetery and copied from the tombstones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
