Morris Cemetery
Grayson County, Texas

Lat: 33°27.13N, Lon: 096°30.34W

Contributed by Melissa Williamson, Mar 26, 2001 [cmdwilliamson@cs.com].
Total records = 34.

It is at the corner of Edwards and Stickland, in the corn field, back in the trees on the north side.

At the time the cemetery was first put into use it was part of the town of Jameson, but the town has disappeared and is now Van Alstyne.

The cemetery is in terrible condition, animals have burrowed into the graves, the stones have fallen over, and it is over grown with trees, most of the trees have since fallen over on top of the graves!!!

Compiled by Melissa Williamson and Larry Jeffery, we walked the cemetery and took pictures/wrote it down. We copied all the stones that we could find.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
