Mercer Cemetery
Port Aransas, Nueces County, Texas

Oaks St between Mercer & Station
Port Aransas TX

Contributed by Judy Reamy, Feb 25, 2003 [jreamy@msn.com]. Total Records = 7.

This is an historical site which was donated to Port Aransas. I spoke with the last surviving member of this family (on her maternal side) and she stated that the family emigration route was England, IN, Mobile AL, then TX.

This cemetery was moved from it's original location when the school athletic field was built over it.

I transcribed from the stones in the spring of 2002, and there are no other stones in this cemetery.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
