The Dobkins were pioneer settlers to this area, arriving in 1852. Alexander
was an Ordained Baptist minister as well as a postmaster in the area
during the Civil War. This cemetery has been placed on the list of Texas
This cemetery is not open to the public. One has to have a special
permit to visit, because of where it is situated.
