phone: 804-784-5681

Contributed by Cheryl Proffitt, Apr 08, 2007 [silverlight7@comcast.net]. Total records = 159.

To reach the cemetery from Hwy 6 (River Road West) in Manakin, take Manakin Road (Hwy 621) north for about 1/2 mile. Cemetery is on the right or east side of the road, north of the church.

The church was established in 1773, but I do not know when the cemetery was established. The earliest marked burial site was in 1830. The cemetery remains in use today and is maintained by the church.

This transcription is of all existing and visible burials as of Apr 06, 2007, when I visited the site. There are thirteen stones where the markings are not visible at all.

    cemetery records

A free online library of cemetery records from thousands of cemeteries across the world, for historical and genealogy research.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
