From Ambar go 1.5 miles southwest/west on Highway 218 until you reach Route 642 Turn north on Route 642 and go .7 miles. There will be a gated entrance with a sign that says "Eagle Nest 1674". Turn there and go up to the house. The cemetery is about 75 yards from the house.

A very old family cemetery. You can obtain permission from the owner to go back there. The Eagle Nest property was purchased in 1674. The cemetery dates back to 1701. It is in good shape and well taken care of. There are two very old broken headstones that were hard to read.
This includes only headstone readings from when I visited this cemetery on Oct 04, 2005.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
