Ware Cemetery
Ware's Crossing, Louisa County, Virginia

New Bridge Road, Ware's Crossing, VA

Lat: 38° 04' 59"N, Lon: 77° 51' 24"W

Contributed by Anne Braun, Dec 30, 2006 [annieb1961@comcast.net]. Total records = 25.

From Ware's Crossing at the intersection of Highways 522 and 208, go east on Highway 208 for 1.6 miles. The cemetery is on the north side of the road about 60 feet.

This is a small cemetery that is in good shape. Most of the people buried are from the Ware Family. There are three headstones that are marked, and one unknown grave, erected by L.C. Ware in 1962.

This is all existing stones, from when I visited it on Dec 28, 2006.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
