From Oldhams, go southwest on Highway 203 or Oldhams Road for 1 mile. The cemetery is on the left or southeast side of the road.

This is a small family cemetery that is in good shape. The cemetery grounds are well kept but some of the headstones were in the bushes. I had to pull back the branches just to read them. Some of the headstones were hard to read because of the age/wear of the headstone. The cemetery holds the descendants of Mottrom Wright who died in 1853 who is part an old Virginia family dating back to the 1600s.

This is a complete reading of all existing and legible headstones from when I visited this site on Jul 13, 2012.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
