Nile Cemetery
Yakima County, Washington

Contributed by Judy Schuster, Sep 27, 2000 [upperwenas@fairpoint.net]. Total records = 6.

This inactive cemetery lies on what was once the Pat Thomas Ranch, in the Nile Valley, west of naches on the Chinook Pass Highway. There are not and probably never were any gravestones in this cemetery. The graves were plowed over years ago. Information on those buried in this location was supplied to the Yakima Valley Genealogy Society for publication by Mrs. Jack Robillard, a daughter of one of the settlers in the valley. Permission for the use of that published information was granted by YVGS on Nov 6, 1999.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
