Location: From I-39, Exit 113, go .15 mile east on CTH E/J to East Frontage Rd., then .3 mile north to cemetery.

History: Early meeting minutes show that this cemetery was originally governed by a board of trustees of the East Side Cemetery Association, an organization probably formed in the mid-to-late 19th century. Later minutes show the name of the organization to be "Westfield Cemetery Association". Ownership and responsibility for maintenance of the cemetery passed to the Village of Westfield some time after 1941.

"Final Disposition" records on file in the clerk's office of the Village of Westfield indicate that the individuals denoted [*] are interred in the East Cemetery, however, there is no other evidence of this, either in the village burial records, or in the cemeteries. The particular cemetery of interment (there are two) is not indicated in those case denoted [†].

Transcribed Jul 1997 from all known tombstones, updated Summer, 2003 by again walking the entire cemetery and by reference to various cemetery records.
