Brewster Family Cemetery
Greenfield, Sauk County, Wisconsin

Lat: 43° 26' 29"N, Lon: 89° 41' 01"W

Contributed by Kathy Waddell, Oct 09, 2004 [kaffe03@yahoo.com]. Total records = 5.

Location: Located at the top of a ridge near the northwest corner of the 40 acres of the SW 1/4 SE 1/4 Section 8, T11N, R7E. It is through private property on Newman Road and not accessible without a guide.

Unkept cemetery at the top of a ridge. Tiffany Opperman (608-356-6071) took me there in the middle winter when the area was not overgrown with brush. She is willing to take others and to call her place of business at the above number for an appointment.

The stones that are there are virtually unreadable. I checked each stone and gleaned what I could from each. No doubt some stones are missing.

This cemetery is also known as Schubring's Cemetery only because the Schubring family owned the land for many years. No Schubring is buried there.

I surveyed and copied this cemetery on Dec 15, 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
