S340 Meffert Road. North side of road down what looks like a private drive. Need to go back on the driveway just a little ways and cemetery is on the left. The drive continues on and is a private driveway. Drive is located on north side of Meffert Road just about a tenth of a mile east of Strawbridge Road.

John Hochmuth donated the land for this cemetery. The last known burial was in 1939. The township assumed care of this cemetery in 1976. It is still in bad condition although it is not overgrown. The cemetery was originally copied by the Wisconsin Old Cemeteries Association in Sep 16, 1975. It was these records that I used to verify stones that had become unreadable or were not longer there.

Also called the German Lutheran Society Cemetery.

I surveyed and copied this cemetery on Jun 30, 2002.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
