Get off at Exit 62 off I-79. It's Rt 4, Gassaway/Sutton exit. Turn left if your coming from the south and the same if you going south. Go about 2 miles and come completely into town, turn right onto Haymond Ave. and continue up the hill turning left onto N. Baxter St. which turns into Cemetery Road and that loops through the cemetery.
There are several cemeteries in Braxton County with the name Sutton in it. This one is located within the city limits of Sutton WV, on Town hill.
This is a perpetual care cemetery, operating under a cemetery board. It is in excellent condition and still actively used.
This is a complete reading of all existing and legible tombstones up to May of 2003.
