History

Mt. Pisgah Cemetery is presently the largest of the 9 cemeteries in the Campbell County Cemetery District. Located in the heart of Gillette, WY, the 57 acre cemetery is situated on one of the highest points in Gillette, WY. The earliest known monument is for Fanny Baugh who died in 1879 but she is not buried in the cemetery. The earliest known burial is for Phil Ward in 1891. Many of Gillette's early pioneers and noteworthy citizens can be found at Mt. Pisgah.
