Blair Athol was once a township close to Clermont, which is itself located 300 km directly west of Mackay, in Queensland, Australia. Follow up the coast from Rockhampton another 360 km to Mackay, then inland.

The original township has been subsumed by the large scale coal mining operation at a mine of the same name. Few if any new interments occur today, most new ones being at Clermont.
