Saint Stanislaus Churchyard
Saint Helens, Break O'Day Council, Tasmania, Australia

Tully Street, Saint Helens, Tasmania

Submitted by Julie N, Feb 13, 2007 Last edited Mar 19, 2007. Total records = 18.

Saint Helens is a substantial seaside town located 166 klms, east of Launceston and 36 klms north of Saint Marys on the east coasts of Tasmania.

This cemetery is situated in the church grounds of the Saint Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church. It dates back to the late 1800s and does not appear to be used for burials anymore.

I walked and read this cemetery in the summer of 2005 when I visited the area. This contains all existing and legible stones and markers at that time.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
