Travelling 209 west from Advocate for 1.40 miles, take a right, turning north for about 4.5 miles to first Brown Cemetery, then Murphy Cemetery about 1/4 mile further. Both are on the left hand side of the road as you enter the village. This village is basically 25 or so houses along route 209.

This is a small family cemetery located in a rural village of about 25 houses. It is still being used.

Stuart Hatfield and I walked and completed this transcription on Oct 15, 2009.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
