I read this cemetery on Oct 20, 2000 and have included all stones. There were five that I was unable to read and 1 base which was missing the monument.

Memorial Plague

On the wall of the cemetery is a large plaque which reads:

"This cemetery was erected AD 1848 as a token of filial affection and respect by the 15 children of William and Mary Shaver, who purchased this farm in 1798 it then a wilderness."

There is a footstone with the initials "A.D.S." and two with only years on them "1838" and "1841". None of these seem to belong to an adjacent stone and may indicate other burials. Many of these stones were extremely hard to read. Please send any corrections to me.
