From Charlottetown follow route 1 East toward Wood Islands. You will see the sign for Orwell Historic Village on your left. Turn here on MacPhail Park Road and then turn right into the drive of Orwell Historic Village. Continue past the interpretation center and you will arrive at the cemetery.

The cemetery appears to have begun about 1880 and is used today. It contains the remains of Scottish settlers who once lived here and made Orwell their home. It is flat and well maintained. There is a white fence separating the cemetery from the parts of the historic village that are accessible by paying a fee. All the buildings in the village are in their true location.

I walked and read this cemetery in June 2008 and made a complete recording of all legible tombstones.
