Cemetery History
The parish of Saint-Louis-de-France was founded in 1888 in Westbury Township, Compton County, (now in the MRC of Le-Haut-Saint-François). It has two gates and paved lanes. The cemetery is the final resting place of French and English Catholics from the area. It is often referred to as Cimetière Saint-Louis de Westbury.
Cemetery Records
Records below were transcribed from tombstone inscriptions by Leslie and Susan Nutbrown during a visit to the cemetery in November 2016. Additional burials without headstones were recorded from local church records.
