Saint Augustin Roman Catholic Cemetery
Saint Augustin, Duplessis, Quebec
Contributed by Charles Gravel, Feb 25, 2006 [charles_gravel@hotmail.com]. Total records = 8.
Saint Augustin village can be reached only by plane or "ski doo" in winter. In the summer, people may, in addition, take the boat to go there. To get to the cemetery, you must follow the "school road" behind McKinnon grocery for about one hundred feet. The cemetery is on the right side of the road.
This cemetery is owned and poorly maintained by Saint Augustin Roman Catholic Church. It is not used for burials anymore.
There is another cemetery which is used by both Anglican and Catholic people, that has been established by the municipality.
I compiled this transcription in September 2002.
