Parkhurst Cemetery
Leeds, Lotbiniere County, Quebec

From the town of Leeds, Megantic County, travel about 12 miles north on route 269 (the original Craig's Road). The cemetery is on the west side (left).

This old Methodist cemetery is well maintained but some of the stones are difficult to read. It was used primarily between mid 1840's and 1900 with only a few burials after that date. There is plenty of space in this cemetery but there are no English people left in the area now.

Susan Nutbrown and I made visits to this cemetery in Sep of 2004, as we did a complete recording of all existing and legible stones.
