The grounds of Campbell Hall Cemetery are well taken care of, many stones are quite old and starting to be difficult to read. The church opened in 1860, so the cemetery dates back at least that far.

The land, donated by Archibald Campbell in 1860, was to be non-denominational. Through the years several different denominations have held their services (primarily Presbyterians and the United Church). There have been services on-and-off through the years and Campbell Hall was closed in 1971, although there still are occasional burials. Campbell Hall has been, through the years, known by at least the following names: Campbell's Reading Hall, Scotch (or Presbyterian) Church of Stoneham and Christ Church

The number at the very end of each line represents the number of the tombstone corresponding to a Layout that I have made, therefore people with the same numbers means they are buried at the same tombstone.

The found markers were for the following families:
McKee family --(3 different family plots) �(tombstones #4, 5, 6) and (tombstones #12, 13, 14) and (tombstone #15)
Hayward family --(tombstones # 7, 8, 9)
McCune family --(2 different family plots) �(tombstones #17, 19, 20) and (tombstone #16)

I compiled this information entirely from the tombstone inscriptions in June 2002 and it was revised August 2003. It represents all visible burials although there were many markers around groups of tombstones. I have taken digital pictures of these tombstones and can forward them to those interested.
