The following records were acquired from the American Battle Monuments Commission on October 29, 2019. 500 of these records are those of soldiers whose bodies were missing, and not recovered. They are denoted in these records with the words, "Tablets of the Missing", referring to a special section of the cemetery where they have been remembered.

??, Disinterred, Plot A, Row 41, Grave 35, World War II, With the hope of identifying an American MIA, X-2762 (Neuville) was disinterred in 2017 by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and is no longer buried in Epinal American Cemetery. Army Pvt. Kenneth D. Farris, killed during World War II, was accounted for on April 23, 2018. Farris' name is recorded on the Tablets of the Missing at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, Netherlands, an American Battle Monuments Commission site along with the other MIAs from WWII. Although interred as an "unknown" his grave was meticulously cared for over the past 70 years by the American Battle Monuments Commission. A rosette will be placed next to his name to indicate he has been accounted for.
??, Disinterred, Plot B, Row 5, Grave 66, World War II, In January 2016, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency exhumed the remains of an Unknown Soldier buried in Plot B Row 5 Grave 66 at Epinal American Cemetery with the belief that an identification could be made. Laboratory analysis and circumstantial evidence were used to positively identify the remains as belonging to Capt. Albert L. Schlegel, 335th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, and lost his life August 28, 1944. His name remains permanently inscribed on the Tablets of the Missing at Lorraine American Cemetery.
