To reach this burial site from Poznan take the A2 east to Wrzesnia. In Wrzesnia take the 92 east for about 10 miles to Wolka and go north for about 1 mile to Staw. The cemetery is on the south end of town.

The stones are situated to the north side of the church which is situated on the south end of Staw. This where some of the clergy are buried. It is owned and well maintained by the Saint Jadwiga Church.

I visited and read this cemetery in September of 2006.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
