To reach cemetery go 12 miles southwest from Oneonta, AL on Highway 75, turn southeast on County Road 24 and go about 3 miles.

This cemetery was started by Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church which was organized in 1884.

The first burial was for the Dillashaw baby who only had a rock for a marker. The oldest marker in the cemetery is for J. Horsley dated 1891.

In the early days the residents were required to do the grave digging. In 1962, a new section between the church and parsonage was opened.

The records were compiled by reading the tombstones, and done by a friend of mine, who wishes to remain anonymous, but has asked me to submit them. They represent all of the people buried in this cemetery up to the fall of 1998.
