The Dixie Cemetery is west of town about .27 mile on the north side of Hwy 29, situated behind the church. This is east of Brewton Alabama about 25 miles.

This cemetery was established by the Dixie Methodist Church and the first known burial was in 1932. It is still used by this small community occasionally for burials. The church is now called the Dixie Community Church, no information as to when the change was made or who maintains the cemetery today.

I walked and read this cemetery using a digital camera on Aug 07, 2010. This includes all existing and legible stones or markers. There are 6 graves with unmarked stones/slabs, etc.
