There has been a church on this location since before 1898. The cemetery is much older. The oldest known grave is that of a Confederate soldier buried in 1861. Katie K. Jones is the oldest known person buried here, having been born in 1792.
Some graves are probably much older than those listed. Numerous graves have only stones marking them. There are 14 civil war veterans, 16 WWII veterans, 3 Korean veterans, 3 Vietnam veterans and 1 Mexican War veteran buried here. The church manages the cemetery.
The following survey has been diligently checked for accuracy of names and dates and is current as of 11 Jul 2003. All information has been derived from headstones & foot markers of known burial locations.
