History

A sign at the cemetery states that it was established in 1855. The earliest tombstone is a shared one for Mary S. Lowry and Nevada Lowry, both small children who died the same day, September 2, 1855. Aqueduct City was a small settlement just down the hill from the Cemetery. One building remains and the rest has faded away.

The Cemetery is on a residential road less than a mile from State Route 88 east from Pine Grove. At Aqueduct-Grove road, turn right. About a hundred yards up on the left is a very narrow dirt road--Aqueduct Circle Road. Turn left onto it. About.2 of a mile up that road there is a Y, with a very sharp left hairpin turn. Turn left and follow up the hill about .1 of a mile. The sign for the Cemetery will be on the left. The Cemetery proper is about 100 feet from the road.

    What makes us Different?

    Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
