History
Fairview Cemetery was officially established in 1895, but there are thousands of undocumented burials that occurred long before. It currently sits on 32 acres of land. The cemetery was created when the former, "Colorado City" purchased land from Anthony Bott, co-founder of Colorado City. The city of Colorado Springs took over operations in 1917.
