Direction: From the Grayhound Station in Youngstown on the corner of I-20 and Highway 231. Go west on I-20 to South Bluesprings Rd also known as County road 2301 make left. Continue for about 3 miles, cemetery on right side of South Bluesprings Road.

The Brown cemetery is situated north of the Porter cemetery about .2 miles, on the same road. It is on land deeded to the Brown heirs, which was a part of the old Gainer Settlement from the 1870s.

This cemetery has been here since the early 1900's with the earliest burial listed being about 1908. It is very well kept and very active it is fenced in with small hut and handpump for water.

I walked and read this cemetery on Feb 21, 2004. This includes all existing and legible headstones.
