Terteling Company, owned by a longtime Boise family, donated approx 40 acres to the state of Idaho. The remaining acreage was purchased from Dry Creek Cemetery District from a grant from the VA State Cemetery Grants Service.
This cemetery was dedicated on Jul 31, 2004, first interment was on Aug 30, 2004 and it was officially opened in November of 2004.
