When you are in on Highway 2 in Priest River go North on 3rd St and follow this until it connects into Cemetery Road. The cemetery will be to the east of the roadway.

The gates are open from 9:00 am until dusk. Currently Tom Peterson is the caretaker for the cemetery.

This cemetery was established in 1904. There were some burials there before that time. The lawn and cemetery are well maintained. The oldest burial appears to be Melisia J Henkle in 1895.

I started this transcription in November 2000, last updated 09-09-2001. The information was cross checked with cemetery written records. Information was also added from obituary and death notification in the newspapers furnished by the Bonner County Museum.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
