This cemetery is on the southwest corner of Meadow Hill & Spring Creek Roads in Barrington Hills, Illinois.

Haeger Cemetery, a small local pioneer cemetery, was established in 1860, and is now closed to burials. Arnett C. Lines(1889-1970) was a Barrington area historian, who transcribed many of our local cemeteries. This cemetery was overgrown and uncared for at the time of his 1938 & 1944 readings.

In the 1950s the cemetery was cleared of debris and is now well maintained. This accounts for the additional listings of burials that I was able to obtain in 1998. In spring of 2001, a wood stockade style fence was erected making access to cemetery difficult for relatives and friends of the interred.

There are many limestone markers 100+years old, which are badly worn with broken portions. Only one large granite marker in excellent condition was noted on the northwest edge of cemetery, when I was there. This headstone marks the Goodrich Family plot.
