McNabb, Putnam County, Illinois

Lat: 41° 08' 33"N, Lon: 89° 13' 23"W
Magnolia Twp, Sec 21

Contributed by Madena Whitesell, May 09, 2006 [iluvot2@yahoo.com]. Total records = 37.

To reach this cemetery from McNabb take Rt 89 south to 250 N. Go west (right) onto 250 N for 1 mile. The cemetery is behind a home, enclosed by a wire fence.

This cemetery is on private property and not accessable to the public. One would have to get permission to visit it. It is inactive at this time and very well maintained by the Boyle family.

I have photos of all of the existing stones, if interested contact me. Plot numbering starts at the northeast corner of the cemetery.

The cemetery was surveyed by myself and a Putnam County Historical Society volunteer on Apr 08, 2006.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
