Kinsley Cemetery
Kinsley, Edwards County, Kansas

Lat: 37° 55' 38"N, Lon: 99° 25' 52"W
Kinsley Twp, Sec 32

Contributed by Linda Brower, Dec 01, 2005 [ltbrower@yahoo.com]. Total records = 7.

This cemetery is located on First Street, west of Kinsley approximately 1/2 mile, on the south side of the road.

This is the first Kinsley cemetery, which is a very old cemetery, established in 1878. I found it in poor repair. There were some stones with new temporary metal markers embedded in them, giving the name of the deceased, birth and death years and the funeral home that furnished them. Many stones are missing and those which remain are few and have been repaired as best as possible.

This is a complete list of all existing and legible stones and markers found when I canvassed I this cemetery on Oct 28, 2003.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
