From Kansas City MO, take I-35 S to Mission Rd. Take Mission Rd to 175th St and turn left (East) and continue to Kenneth Road. Cemetery located on the NW corner.

This cemetery is owned and maintained by the Aubry Cemetery District, Johnson County KS, No history is available other than it was established in 1908. Contact: Ron Smith <rsonnall@kc.rr.com>

The cemetery is located in the country on gravel roads very close to the state line. A large portion of the gravestones have been stolen. Many of the cement anchors are left indicating where headstones once stood, and many pedestals stand empty of their monuments. Some graves are marked by rocks. The cemetery lot is well mowed and groomed.

From the appearance and the sexton's map, a large number of lots were layed out, however only one central section was used, A drive is indicated on the map, but no such drive exists today. It appears that this cemetery was platted and planned to be developed but apparently was abandoned.

I photographed and transcribed this cemetery from the gravestones and supplemented from old sexton records, completing it on Jul 30, 2005.
