From Pretty Prairie, KS, go about 3 miles west on Pretty Prairie Road, then go about 3 miles south on Partridge Road, or from Kingman, KS, go about 5 miles north on High Point Road, then about 2 miles east on Smoots Creek Road. This cemetery is situated on the corner of Partridge Road & Smoots Creek Road.
The Schooley Cemetery is located on the north side of the Kingman County-Reno County line in Roscoe Township. This is a very small & old cemetery surrounded by a chainlink fence & plowed farm land. According to the Reno County KS cemetery book there are eight graves. With all of the overgrowth only seven were located.
I walked and read all existing & legible headstones and markers on Sep 15, 2007.
