Directions from Russell Springs, KY: Take US Hwy 127 North three miles to Hwy 76. Turn left on Hwy 76 at Webbs Cross Roads. Travel two and a half miles on Hwy 76. The church will be on the left and the cemetery is directly behind the church, both on the south side of the Hwy 76.

This cemetery was established as the Tarter Cemetery by the church of the same name. The name of the church is now Good Tidings Church. The earliest listed burial is 1855.

The Church is definitely in Russell County but part of the cemetery extends west into Adair County. The old church appropriately called "Tarter" was on the same site across the driveway entrance (west side).

This is a complete reading of all existing and legible stones and markers found when I walked and read this cemetery in 2000. This includes some updates.
