Lat: 32° 37' 47"N, Lon: 91° 44' 22"W

Submitted by Dorothy Atkins, Oct 15, 2003 [dotatkins2003@yahoo.com].  Total records = 9.

From Oak Ridge take hwy 134 east 1.8 miles to Pipes Ln. it is the first dirt road on left, go .4 miles, cemetery is on the left beside the road.

There are many graves in the cemetery but not many stones. I was told that many graves were marked with wood markers witch have long rotted away.

This cemetery is in fair condition and is still accepting burials. It is an all black cemetery and it is said that some slaves were buried here.

These records were compiled on 13 Oct 2003 by Dorothy & Wilburn Atkins from the tombstones.

What makes us Different?

Single-sourced, not crowd-sourced

Each transcription we publish comes from a single-source, be it the cemetery office, government office, church office, archived document, a tombstone transcriber. Other websites already do an excellent job of crowd-sourcing a single cemetery together. But genealogists also need to see the original records from a single source. That's what we offer.
