Directions: From the Mass Pike take Route 20 West to Huntington. At the junction of Route 20 and Route 112 turn north onto 112. Travel on 112 North for about 15 miles to Worthington. Turn left onto Kinne Brook Road. Drive one mile to the junction of Kinne Brook and Curtis Road. Turn right onto Curtis. The cemetery is about � of a mile down Curtis at the intersection with Almon Johnson Road.

Most of the information contained here was collected by Marcia and Frank Feakes as they were applying for National Historic Register status for the Brewster Cemetery in the early 1990s. I have added or clarified some information based on records in the Worthington, Massachusetts Vital Statistics to 1850 book, where Brewster is referred to as GR # 3 (grave yard # 3).

The cemetery contains a handful of unreadable stones but this list is essentially complete. The town of Worthington was incorporated in 1768 and the earliest burial in this cemetery appears to have occurred in 1777.

The cemetery has also been known as the Almon Johnson Cemetery, the Guard Hazen Cemetery, and the Leonard Cemetery. It is no longer in use but is maintained by the town of Worthington.
