From the intersection of Highway 27 (Ridge Road) and Kate Wagnor Road, turn east onto Kate Wagnor Road and go .5 miles until you reach Gist Road. Turn north onto Gist Road and go .5 miles until you reach Hook Road. Turn onto Hook Road abd go east 2 blocks. The cemetery is on the north side of the road in a field surrounded by a black iron fence.

The first burial occured in 1816 and the last burial took place in 1995. Most not if all of the descendants of the Gist Family are buried here. The cemetery is neat and well taken care of. This is a very patriotic family with first names such as Federal and State.
