From Mount Airy, go 2 miles north on Highway 27 (Ridge Road) until you reach Harrisville Road, turn west and go about .25 miles. The cemetery is on the north side of the road.
This is an old African American cemetery that is not in good condition. Some of the headstones have fallen and there is a lot of trash left around the cemetery.
The residents of the house next door do mow the cemetery and try to keep it up. They are still accepting burials in this cemetery.
I have transcribed from readings taken from all existine headstones, when I visited this cemetery on Apr 05 2003.
