In La Plata, from the intersection of Highways 6 and 488, go east then south on Highway 6 (Charles Street) for 3.5 miles. The cemetery is next to the church on the west side of the road.

This small cemetery is owned and maintained by Saint Mathew United Methodist Church. There are some handmade stones and about 10-12 old funeral home markers with no identification. The first burial listed occurred in 1814. This cemetery is in fair condition, and is still in use.

I visited this one on Mar 12 and Apr 03, 2004. I did the best I could on reading this one. It includes all existing and legible headstone and marker readings.
