In Charlotte Hall, from the intersection of Highway 5 and Golden Beach Road, go on Golden Beach Road for 4.5 miles until you get to Allen Street. Turn on Allen Street and go 1 block south and turn and go .5 block east. The cemetery is on the north side of the road with a brick wall around it.
This is a well kept, very old family cemetery. The cemetery was started around 1675 by the Sotheron Family. It appears it has not been used for burials since about 1835.
There are 6-8 indentions in the ground, indicating of unmarked burials that are there. A few of the headstones were well worn and very hard to read.
